What is your favorite thing about Reality Changers and why?

I love the fact that there is someone who you can count on and that will guide you to achieve your goals. Anna, my College Apps Instructor, did a great job helping us all and walking us through the entire university application process.

What is your favorite subject in school?

My favorite  subject in school has to be Spanish and any type of science class. I really enjoy my Spanish class because I am able to connect with other students that come from similar backgrounds.

What would people be surprised to know about you?

People might be surprised to know that I was not really set on specific university and that I usually like to go with the flow of life. I wasn’t dead set on one university because my priority was just to continue my studies no matter the school.

What have you learned from other RC students and staff?

I can truly say that I learned many things from RC staff and students. I have learned to manage my time and even to reach out for help. I learn that I shouldn’t be afraid to ask questions because maybe there is someone else struggling with the same thing. I also was able to learn how to complete the application process and even what requirements are needed to be accepted into a university.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Right away I knew that my biggest challenge was going to be the fact that I am a first generation student and that my parents were not able to help me out due to the language barrier. Luckily I had Reality Changers to help me with any questions and struggles I had!
