We welcome university representatives to speak to our junior and senior students before evening program Tuesday-Thursday from 5:00-6:00 PM, with an optional 6:00-6:30 PM dinner with our students. The goal is to expose students to different colleges and options, and for students to learn about university specific admission guidelines, campus resources, advice that will help them better prepare for college and, most importantly, strengthen their college application.
Have fun with friends, family and business associates while benefiting Reality Changers! Hosted by the Del Mar-Solana Beach Rotary Club, the Bocce Tournament is a fundraiser that gives back to local communities and mission-minded organizations.
Celebrating the theme of "Community Before Self," the Malin Burnham Awards was created to honor those who have had the greatest philanthropic impact on our region. This annual event recognizes San Diego’s Most-Admired Leaders.
During the students’ Spring Break, students have the option to sign up to shadow a professional in a field that they are interested in. Students then get paired up with volunteer hosts and shadow them for a few hours during the workday to learn more about what their jobs entail and what experiences help them get into that field.
Near the end of the academic year, we celebrate the successes of all of our students at the Scholarship Celebration. We present the college sweaters to the seniors and announce the amount of scholarship the whole class has earned that year. This event is open to the public, but focused on the friends and families of the students.
A day-long gathering that brings together professionals, college, and high school students through a series of skill-building sessions. Student participants will connect with community leaders to strengthen their professional development.
