Position Overview

The Alumni Network Program serves first-generation college students as they navigate campus life and prepare to launch their careers.

The Alumni Network Mentorship Program matches Reality Changers graduates in their third year of university with ambitious and compassionate career professionals. Together, the mentor and mentee build a meaningful connection and develop transferrable skills that will set Alumni Network participants up for success after college. We are looking for mentors from all walks of life who are interested in supporting first-generation college graduates towards long-term success. Training is provided.

Timeline and Time Commitment

December: Application Due

January: Attend virtual orientation

January – June 2025
Meet once a month with your mentee for a minimum of an hour (virtually or in-person). The Alumni Network team will give you and your mentee specific assignments related to goal-setting and making the most of your time.

There will be occasional staff check-ins during this period as well.

Additional Details

Mentors should have at least five years of professional work experience and a willingness to invest time and knowledge into the success of a first-generation college student.
