I.M.P.A.C.T. TEAM – Weekly Tutor & Mentor
Influential Mentors Providing Academic College-level Tutoring
- Volunteers commit to serve as tutors and mentors to 8th-12th grade students and help them to be the first in their families to go to college.
- Tutors are matched with individual students for the entire academic school year, participate in group lessons and family style dinners, and serve as positive role models.
- IMPACT Team members are also encouraged to attend weekend community service events with Reality Changers students to promote public service and civic engagement among youth.
SOCIAL ENTERPRISE ADVISORY BOARD
Reality Changers is building a social enterprise to help the organization become more self-sufficient. ”College Apps Academy” takes the guidance that Reality Changers provides free of charge for low-income students and offers this guidance at a special rate for middle- and upper-income families who can afford to pay for it. If you would like to help Reality Changers build this social enterprise, you are invited to attend this advisory board’s weekly meetings held every Monday from 11:30am-12:30pm.
