Tran Phung: Learning & Hoping

Tran Phung joined Reality Changers as an 11th grader. She is currently a 12th grader at University City High School and attends Reality Changers’ College Apps Academy.

What are you looking forward to in school this year?

I am looking forward to seeing how our school life is going to be planned out. I want to see how my school is adapting and if I can adapt with it. As we now continue with an online schooling system, with new classes, I am sure it will be hard but I want to hope for the best and a speedy recovery for our states so we can resume school in person. It will still be great to see my new classmates and teachers, even online.

What support systems are you leaning on or creating for yourself to persevere (keep going) this year?

I have my family, always striving for education and encouraging me to further it. They are accepting, so very adaptable, and have taught me that not only do I have to get through this era of my life, but that I should want to. My motivation has been low, and classes being online can only make that harder but with check-ins from close friends and Reality Changers I know I can pull my weight and keep going.

What is one thing you hope to learn or experience at Reality Changers this year?

I hope to experience a day where I finish my college apps and can’t wait to thank Reality Changers for helping me along my journey. I want to learn more people skills, such as media communications and networking and hopefully to see my friends and Reality Changers staff in person.

How does your Reality Changers family make you more confident in your strengths?

My Reality Changers family always supports me. No matter if I am on or off track Reality Changers is there to motivate me to the right path. When I get carried away and forget about academics and my education, they are always there to remind me, and with some personal relationships and close friendships I have been able to open up to them, speak freely, and take in advice they have given me.

How is Reality Changers helping you navigate change as you go back to school?

Reality Changers has still been able to keep in touch with us over our summer break by getting us more used to a Zoom format and classroom setting. I think this will help in the future as we begin classes for our school.

Travelers heading north to Canada's Yukon Territory often trace the historic routes carved out during the Klondike Gold Rush of 1896, when thousands of stampeders pushed through the Chilkoot Pass chasing fortune in the icy creeks near Dawson City. That same frontier spirit carries over into modern entertainment options for Canadian players, who can explore a richly themed gaming experience at Yukon Gold casino, a brand that draws on the rugged gold rush imagery familiar to anyone who has read Jack London's northern tales.
Players who enjoy a polished online lobby often compare welcome packages, slot libraries, and live dealer depth before settling on a brand, and Winner Island casino tends to come up in those discussions among Canadian fans looking for a balanced mix of pokies, table games, and ongoing promos.
