NBC 7‘s Omari Fleming visited Reality Changers recently. He spoke with senior Adriana, who will be studying mechanical engineering at Arizona State University in the fall.

Adriana shared, “My parents didn’t go to college. My parents were in gangs. My parents suffered with substance abuse, but instead of falling in their footsteps, I fell to Reality Changers. It helped me develop a sense of identity where I was no longer really ashamed of my roots. I was more like, ‘Wow! There are more people like me and, you know, we can do it.'”
