We are grateful to add new Board Members to our Reality Changers Family. This month we are excited to welcome Aditi Salvi, Alexia Urias, and Parker Zangoei.
Aditi Salvi is the Vice President of Global Human Resources at Solar Turbines, a division of Caterpillar Inc. Solar, headquartered in San Diego, is a global manufacturer of gas turbines and compressors with over 8,000 global employees. In her current role, she is responsible for talent acquisition, organizational development, employee engagement, diversity/equity/inclusion, total rewards, retention as well as communication and medical/health strategies.
Before being named to her current role in July 2019, Aditi held a variety of human resources leadership roles at both Cummins Inc. and Northrop Grumman over a period of 13 years. Aditi has extensive experience in the human resources function and has held several strategic leadership roles in her career. Aditi’s global experience includes work assignments and positions in India, Japan and throughout the U.S. (California, New York, Indiana, Tennessee and Wisconsin).
Aditi has a master’s in industrial psychology from University of Pune, India and a master’s in business administration from Texas A&M University, College Station, U.S.
Aditi is passionate about making people and companies successful while supporting meaningful impact and change in the community. Born in Iran, raised in Japan, Indonesia and Singapore, she has a deep passion for leveraging the power of diversity, equity and inclusion in all facets of life.
In her free time, Aditi enjoys continuing to discover a variety of outdoor activities in San Diego (and California) which she, her husband and her daughter have called home for three years.
Parker Zangoei is a Senior Associate attorney at DLA Piper working on the firm’s venture and growth finance team. Parker initially got involved with Reality Changers through organizing a firm fundraiser and has since been a judge in our speech night and is a mentor in the Alumni Mentor program. In his free time Parker likes to explore San Diego with his fiancée, Juliette, and their giant Leonberger puppy, Herman.
Alexis Urias is a first-generation professional from San Diego, CA. He graduated from Reality Changers in 2014 and completed his BA in Sociology and BA in Film and Media Studies from UC Irvine in 2019. Shortly after graduating, Alexis joined the Division of Career Pathways (DCP) at UC Irvine as the On-Campus Recruitment Specialist. At DCP, he coordinates employer related events such as university-wide career fairs, campus interviews, and information sessions. In Fall 2021, he began his journey to pursue a Master of Science degree in Education with an emphasis in higher education at California State University, Fullerton.
