NEWS: Opinion: We’re building a STEM network to level the playing field for students

Reality Changers partner SD2 provides students with internships, lessons, and special experiences in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields. Bill Rastetter, Founder and Chairman of the Board at SD2, wrote a San Diego Union-Tribune opinion article about local efforts to increase diversity in the STEM industry and how Reality Changers is helping to make a difference.

“An April 2021 report by the Pew Research Center notes there has been dramatic growth in the number of STEM graduates from U.S. colleges and universities at all degree levels since 2010. That’s the good news. The bad news, according to Pew Research, is diversity in STEM jobs among underrepresented communities will not shift significantly in the near term.”
