This year’s report features a few amazing students, graduates, and family members, including Hanna (’16):
“I come from a family that is low-income and without Reality Changers, I wouldn’t be where I am today. In high school, I attended programs almost daily to receive tutoring services as well as dinners. Once I got to senior year, I started working on college applications and I ended up attending San Diego State. With Reality Changers’ help, I was able to find my path and really have a clear sight of my future.”
Today, Hanna is a case worker for PATH, where she helps to find permanent housing for people experiencing homelessness. She is concurrently working on her Master’s degree in Child & Family Development at SDSU.
