- Winter break is Dec 24 – Jan 4th and we will have no program during this time. Program starts again on Jan 7th!
- Our last speech tournament of the year was this week! Tournaments will resume in February.
COLLEGE APPS ACADEMY
- UC applications were due November 30th! Congrats to all seniors who applied!

- The CSU application has been EXTENDED for ALL students to December 15th. We received confirmation from our CSU partners that the new deadline will not negatively impact any student who applies to any CSU after the initial November 30th deadline. Read more here.
- The San Diego Foundation Common Scholarship Application opens December 5th. This gives San Diego students access to more than 100 scholarships that make up the Community Scholarship Program by filling out just one application. Join our seniors in applying!
- Friendly Reminder: The filing period for FAFSA, CA Dream Act Application, and Cal Grant Verification Form is now open! The California filing period is open through March 2, 2019.

ALUMNI NETWORK
- Last month, we prepared and sent care packages to alumni in their first year of college. As finals approach, we want to remind them that they are not alone and we are rooting for them. Thank you to our friends at SDG&E for helping us put this all together!
- FAFSA/Dream Act Renewal Workshops continue this month! If you are an RC Alumni and are interested in attending the Tuesday, December 18th workshop from 6:00-8:00 PM, sign up here!
- We are looking forward to connecting with Alumni at our Winter Reunion this month! The event is scheduled for Thursday, December 20th from 7:00-9:00 PM at Duke’s La Jolla. Registration is open to our volunteers and tutors as well, sign up here!
COMMUNITY
- Thank you to SDG&E for inviting our students and their families to the SDSU v. Hawaii game at SDCCU Stadium last month! Students had the opportunity to learn about San Diego State University admissions, student life, financial opportunities and more.
- SAVE THE DATE: Job Shadow Week 2019 will be March 25th to March 28th & April 8th to April 9th!
