We were just as excited as we were nervous about being in a whole new environment with new students, professors, roommates, and classes. THE college ambassador program

The mission of the Reality Changers’ Ambassador Program is to empower program graduates to take on leadership roles as mentors and to help provide incoming students a successful transition to college. By providing opportunities for mentorship, and by teaching practical leadership and community-building skills, the program helps Reality Changers’ first-generation students strengthen their self-confidence, find their voice, and grow into pillars of support that future program graduates can aspire toward.

Student College Ambassadors:

Are enrolled at either UCSD, CSUSM, or SDSU
Will host workshops for incoming first-year students
Will commit 3 hrs/week to Program needs
Will provide mentorship to incoming first-year students
